Switch to OpenStreetMap in settings to prevent crashes. Copy GPX files to /sdcard/gpx or /download. For custom cache order, edit /sdcard/gpx/info.txt. Use Cache Database Management for faster imports or search online with a free bcaching account. Note: Source code is unavailable, so updates aren't possible.
