NTPWEdit is a 64-bit offline password editor that targets the Windows SAM database to reset user credentials. Operating from a Preinstallation Environment (PE), it accesses the system's security files without booting into Windows, making it effective for situations where login is impossible. The software displays all local user accounts and allows the administrator to blank passwords or set new ones, providing immediate access to the system.
